Honda, Yamaha, dan Suzuki Tanpa Kepastian di Thailand
Honda, Yamaha, and Suzuki still not sure when the production plant in Thailand was resumed. In fact, all three make sure no damage at the plant. The main problem, the supply of components that are not yet available.
Yamaha factory in Bang Na-Trat, 21 kilometers east of Bangkok, has stopped production for 10 days. Employees remain on alert and deployed to build dikes to prevent flooding into the area of production. "We hope that this November the condition improves. We also expect suppliers to have recovered and can resume work again," said Yamaha spokesman who refused to be named, told the Bangkok Post today (2 / 11).
Suzuki Motor also stop production with the same reason, although there is no component of the condition of machinery and plant equipment in Thanyaburi, Pathum Thani, is safe.
"We can not ensure that when production starts again. The only answer, waiting for the recovery of parts supply companies," said Lertsak Navavinarn, General Manager of Sales and Marketing Suzuki Thailand.
Meanwhile, Honda Manufacturing in Lat Krabang, Bangkok, the same fate. They are "off" since October 11, and the possibility of re-opening this weekend. That, too, not sure!
